Cead mile failte, translates to “a hundred thousand welcomes”.
The Irish Times Restaurant is the first authentic Irish restaurant in the greater Knoxville area and we have been a family run business since we opened at the end of 2006.
Owners Jon and Rachel Ferrie are both Irish and English. They teamed up with Executive Chef Rafael (Rocco) Soto in South Florida at their previous Irish restaurant. They have worked together for numerous years before moving to Knoxville. And it was here in Knoxville where they met up with General Manager, Colm Doyle a fellow Irishman; Assistant Manager, Kris Johnson from East Tennessee.
